  • The cake always takes the spotlight at any wedding, from Princess Diana’s five foot (152cm) long cake that was adorned with marzipan Windsor coats of arms, to unique icing patterns and embroidery, and a bride who created a life sized edible cake that was a replica of herself.
  • While the method of making cakes has changed over the years as most couples do opt to save money and rather get a cake that is made out of Styrofoam, one thing remains the same and that is the creativity that goes into cake making.

What’s Hanging, love?

Wedding have a lot of hanging elements like flowers or dancers but never did we think a cake can also be in the mix. Butter Cream Queen also made this rose petal cake in a see-through triangle that is hanging from the ceiling.

A UK bakery named Blueberry Moon Cakes makes realistic and figurine wedding cakes. This one in particular was made for a couple who love Rock ‘n Roll and all things grunge.

His and Her Royal Highness

Well, you often hear couples call their spouses ‘My Queen’ and ‘My King’ and not did this couple say, they meant it too with castle design cake for their special day.

The wedding cake evolution goes as far as bending all the rules in romance. You usually hear of red rose petals, but this cake is designed to look like a gigantic blue rose petal.

There is no doubt that after the bride, the cake is the next best thing that anyone looks forward to seeing at any wedding.
