Motorola India has teased the launch of another budget-friendly smartphone. The teaser video was released on Motorola India’s official social media handle, and it reveals that the phone will have a 50MP camera at the back with a vegan leather design. The video teaser describes the phone as the best camera phone in its segment, and it will come with a dual rear camera setup and a curved display.
According to reports, it might be the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion 5G smartphone, which was recently spotted on the Indian certification site. The video teaser mentions the word “Fusion,” which confirms this assumption. This phone was recently launched globally and will be the second one in the same series to be launched by the company in India, following the Motorola Edge 50 Pro.
Motorola Edge 50 Fusion 5G specifications
As per Motorola’s global website, the phone features a 6.7-inch FHD+ pOLED 3D curved display with a 144Hz high refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1600 nits. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor and will have 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. In terms of the camera, the phone has a 50MP main OIS camera, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.
The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery with 68W Turbo Fast USB Type-C charging and an IP68 rating. It runs on the Hello UI based on the Android 14 operating system and also has features such as NFC and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
