GSMA Launches Industry City, The HUB Startup & Innovation Zone, Expert Summits Including mmWave, Keynote Speakers for MWC Las Vegas, September 28-30, 2022

13 September 2022, London: GSMA MWC Las Vegas, in partnership with CTIA, will open its doors on 28th September at the Las Vegas Convention Center’s (LVCC) new West Hall. Anticipation is mounting for MWC Las Vegas 2022 as the GSMA shares the latest news about the North America edition of the MWC Series.

Business leaders and policymakers will share insights and discuss industry developments in a packed agenda across three days. With a focus on the event theme of Connectivity Unleashed, MWC Las Vegas 2022 brings together the digital ecosystem with more than 200 expert speakers, over 300 companies across the exhibition halls, and 50-plus hours of curated content.

Industry City at MWC Las Vegas

Supported by Industry City 5G Showcase partner, NTT, and following a successful launch at MWC Barcelona 2022, we are excited to introduce Industry City to MWC Las Vegas. This content, networking and demo zone will showcase how vertical industries are building a connected and digital future. In addition to metaverse/web 3.0, Industry City will focus on the manufacturing, smart mobility and fintech sectors, in collaboration with our headline sponsors NTT, Cisco and Microsoft Azure. The GSMA Pavilion, next to Industry City, will feature live demos including Power IoT, VR shopping and connected smart mobility.

Introducing The HUB at MWC Las Vegas

We are proud to present the HUB – the startup and innovation zone at MWC Las Vegas for startups, investors and companies to learn, connect and launch new business ventures. Developed in partnership with StartUp Vegas, whose mission is to boost startup culture and create an environment of entrepreneurship in Las Vegas, the HUB will feature content sessions, fireside chats and LevelUps, StartUp Vegas’ pitch event for founders. From the HUB Stage, founders can pitch to a panel of venture capitalists. Exhibiting in the HUB and taking part in the startup program are sixteen start-ups selected by Mobile World Capital Barcelona, the public-private initiative that promotes the digital development of society and helps improve people’s lives globally. MWCapital hosts MWC Barcelona and founded 4 Years from Now (4YFN).

Expert summits, thought leadership and policy tracks

We are also presenting expert GSMA summits and programs at MWC Las Vegas. Look out for the mmWave Summit, as well as the eSim Summit, sponsored by Kore, Idemia and Valid and, the OpenRAN Summit, sponsored by Red Hat.
