Head of Nvidia Believes We Could Have Fully-Generated AI Games by 2030

Generative AI is one of the biggest debates in the gaming sector right now. The CEO of Nvidia, one of the world’s leading AI companies, has dropped a prediction that we may soon see games where everything is generated by AI. He also believes that this could happen in real-time and that we’re only 10 years away from seeing it happen. Jensen Huang claimed at the GPU Tech Conference. Huang proposed that we’re already experiencing the “S curve” in terms of widespread adoption and that, as a result of this, most technology is now better and more practical.

AI and machine learning have helped to speed up game creation considerably. It’s not clear whether or not Huang’s answer implies that Nvidia’s DLAA is going to become commonplace, or that entire games will be created on the fly in real-time. It is, however, clear that Huang thinks AI is here to stay, and that it’s going to have a huge part to play in video game creation.
