FOX Sports has revealed some of the innovative technology set to be used in the inaugural UFL season.
Following the merger of the USFL and XFL in December 2023, the first-ever UFL season is scheduled to kick off on Saturday, March 30.
The first game will see the reigning USFL champions, the Birmingham Stallions, head to the reigning XFL champions, the Arlington Renegades.
Scheduled for a 1pm ET kick-off on Fox, the broadcaster recently unveiled some of the cutting-edge technology set to be used at Choctaw Stadium.
These will include an in-action Bumblebee drone, helmet cameras, referee hat cameras, pylon cameras, SkyCam, and a high-resolution handheld camera nicknamed ‘Megalodon,’
Curt Menefee and Joel Klatt will announce Saturday’s game from Arlington, Texas.

Former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Brock Huard will report on the game from the sidelines.
The hometown Renegades will be led by XFL Championship Game MVP quarterback Luis Perez.
The 29-year-old threw for 577 yards, six touchdowns, and one interception across their two postseason games in 2023.
Among the team’s more recognizable names are former First-Team All-Pro linebacker Vic Beasley and ex-Second-team All-Pro punter Marquette King.

The Stallions head to Arlington with former Carolina Panthers quarterback Matt Corral at the helm.
A third-round draft pick in 2022, he spent part of last season with the New England Patriots.
One of their stars to watch will be former Green Bay Packer and the USFL’s reigning receiving touchdowns leader, tight end Jace Sternberger.
Fellow former Packer, wide receiver Amari Rodgers also joins the Stallions this season.
Other former NFL stars on their roster include linebacker Scooby Wright and defensive tackle Carlos Davis, who played for the Arizona Cardinals and Pittsburgh Steelers respectively.
As for their respective coaches, both will likely sound familiar to football fans.
Renegades coach Bob Stoops enjoyed a legendary career with Oklahoma, winning 10 Big 12 titles and the 2000 National Championship.
The Stallions are coached by Skip Holtz, a two-time Conference-USA Champion and long-time Louisiana Tech head coach.
Following the weekend’s opener, the Michigan Panthers will host the St. Louis Battlehawks at Ford Field.
That is scheduled to kick off at 4pm ET on Fox.
Both of Sunday’s games will be available on ESPN, starting with the D.C. Defenders at the San Antonio Brahmas at The Alamodome from 12pm ET.
The Houston Roughnecks will close out Week 1 against the Memphis Showboats at Rice Stadium back in Texas.
