Prof. S. VijayaRaju, Chairman, Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) mentioned, “Since the students of today will need to work in a future where AI is the reality, it’s important that our educational institutions expose students to content and learning methodologies driven by technology. We at the state council have been actively working with higher education institutions towards achieving this goal. The EduTech Congress assumes significance as it offers a platform for all relevant stakeholders to come together to discuss and deliberate on the way forward.”

Prof. P Narasimha Rao, Vice-Chairman, APSCHE commented “APSCHE has been closely monitoring the uptake of digital platforms that use AI to provide learning, testing and feedback to students. This offers a solution to the problem of customized learning which has remained unviable given that one teacher has to manage 50-60 students at a time. We expect AI-powered platforms to offer challenges to students that will help identify gaps in their existing knowledge and also offer them a feedback which would help the students identify the problem areas that needs to be worked on.”

Education as a domain has largely been ruled by human-to-human interaction which we believe is nearing its end. There is a need to identify the tools and the right approach of educating students keeping in mind the demands of the industry. The EduTech Congress is aimed at initiating meaningful conversation around use of AI in course design, skilling, job placement and identification of best practices in the education sector. This also reaffirms our commitment towards offering the best learning environment for students which prepares them for the job-market and helps them in adapting to the changing needs of the work environment”, added Prof. S. Varadarajan, Secretary, APSCHE.
