Andrew Chun scored a hat-trick and assisted on three other goals, and that performance powered Bergen Tech to an 8-4 victory over West Orange in West Orange.
Aiden Ohlendorf scored twice and won eight faceoff draws for the Knights, who opened their season with a victory. Bergen Tech held a 3-1 lead after three quarters, before outscoring the Mountaineers 5-3 in a wild fourth. Drew Wagner made eight saves for the winners.
Jake Watkinson scored a hat-trick to pace West Orange, which was also opening its season. Remy Frolow also scored for the Mountaineers.
