In a startling turn of events, eight schools in Delhi were forced to evacuate their students today after receiving bomb threat emails.
Today, some schools in Delhi and Noida got scary emails saying there were bombs on their campuses. So, the police came to check everything carefully.
At Sanskriti School in Chanakyapuri, Mother Mary School in Mayur Vihar, and Delhi Public School in Dwarka, they got these emails first thing in the morning. Then, five more schools got the same scary messages.
At Mother Mary School, kids were taking exams when this happened. They had to stop the exams right in the middle and leave the school fast. The school told everyone to get out immediately because of the emergency.
In a mail to parents, DPS said, “This is to inform you that the school has received an email that threatens the safety and security of the students. As a precautionary measure we are sending the students back home immediately.”
The school premises was evacuated after local police was informed. Visuals from the schools showed parents rushing to the schools to pick up their children.
Bomb detection team, bomb disposal squad and officials of Delhi Fire Service have been rushed to the schools.
The police team looked everywhere but didn’t find anything strange yet. They’re trying hard to figure out where the scary email came from. They’re trying to find the IP address of the email, but until now, they haven’t been able to find out who sent it or from where.
