Rizal Gov. Nina Ynares called for caution as many Facebook pages of government offices have fallen victim to hacking.
One of these is the page of the Department of the Interior and Local Government-Batangas.
Ynares shard the link to the agency’s new page,https://www.facebook.com/DBProvOffice, as she underscored the importance of these official pages.
Without these official pages, it is difficult for government agencies to disseminate important information to the public, she said.
She urged people to share the link to the new DILG-Batangas page so that it could reconnect with the public.
“Maging maingat at mapanuri po tayong lahat sa mga impormasyon na natatanggap natin online, at maging responsable sa paggamit ng social media,” she added.
