Last week, LinkedIn’s Chief Economist shared her outlook on what we may see as the U.S. braced for the impact of coronavirus, predicting a sharp decline in hiring that would quickly rebound based on trends we’re seeing as China emerges from its lockdown.

LinkedIn data shows this outlook is correct, the U.S. is heading into a period of uncertainty as employers quickly change hiring strategies, and pivot the way they sell goods and services.
