NPCI launches eNACHLite at Global Fintech Fest 2026; Hyderabad based Viyona Fintech, an NPCI certified Technology Service Provider, has built and tested the system and is ready to take banks live
MUMBAI / HYDERABAD, 9 September 2026: Fintech Startup Viyona Fintech India Private Limited announced today that it is ready to onboard banks on eNACHLite following the launch of the new mandate platform by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) at the Global Fintech Fest 2026 in Mumbai.
eNACHLite enables customers to create, change, pause and cancel eNACH mandates within the app they are already using, replacing the browser redirect currently used during the mandate journey.
Viyona Fintech, an NPCI certified Technology Service Provider working on eNACHLite, said it has built and tested the system end to end and is ready to take banks live from day one.
Millions of Indians use eNACH mandates for recurring payments such as loan EMIs, insurance premiums and monthly investments. Under the earlier process, customers could be redirected from an app to a web page to complete their mandate, adding another step to the payment journey and potentially resulting in failed or incomplete mandates.
With eNACHLite, customers can complete the mandate process within the same app. They can view the auto debit details, authenticate using their card or Aadhaar and complete the process using a one-time password.
The system also provides information on the reason for a failed mandate attempt, allowing customers and support teams to identify what went wrong.
Changes for banks and lenders
For banks and lenders, eNACHLite is designed to help customers complete the mandate process and reduce complaints related to failed or incomplete mandates. Support teams can also access clearer information about failed transactions when assisting customers.
“That jump out to a web page has been the single weakest link in Indian auto debit for years,” said Ravindranath Yarlagadda, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Viyona Fintech India Private Limited. “Every one of those drop offs was a customer who wanted to pay and could not. NPCI has now fixed that at the root. We started building the moment the eNACHLite specification landed, so a bank coming to us today is not starting from a blank page. They are stepping onto something that already works.”
No new app required
Banks do not need to build a new application to implement eNACHLite, while existing eNACH mandates will continue without changes.
Sensitive details, including card numbers and Aadhaar information, remain within NPCI’s secure software and do not enter the bank’s custody. Viyona will handle the technical build, NPCI certification and day to day operation of the system. Banks, NBFCs and lenders can request an eNACHLite onboarding briefing from Viyona Fintech.
