When a team has twice as many runs as hits and wins via the 10-run rule, it’s pretty easy to figure out: Atlantic Tech benefitted from some charity in a 14-2 win over host Pleasantville.
The Red Hawks (9-10) drew 12 bases on balls and took advantage of six Pleasantville errors. Angel Mojica had a pair of hits and drove in a run for Atlantic Tech. Josh Witmer, Angelo Gonzalez, Kostya Yakita and winning pitcher Billy Estergen drove in two runs each.
