Technical Textiles & Innovations, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India; Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi; has invited applications for filling up of 4 Posts of Sr. Consultant(s) / Consultant(s) in National Technical Textiles Mission under Ministry of Textiles.
National Technical Textiles Mission (NTTM) focuses on research and innovation and indigenous development of specialty fibres from Carbon, Nylon-66, Glass, Aramid and other high technology polymers; increase application of geo-textiles, agro-textiles, medical textiles, protective textiles and other segments of technical textiles in various application areas; promote awareness amongst users, bring in large scale investments, and encourage high-end technical textiles products; enhance India’s exports of technical textiles through focused attention on highest traded products; create a robust human resources in the country, both through specialised higher education and skill development of technical manpower of the country.
The Posts are (i) Sr. Consultant (Innovation and Start-ups) (ii) Sr. Consultant (Data Analytics) (iii) Consultant / Specialists (Scientific Research) (iv) Consultant (Skilling and Training). There is one vacancy for each.
The engagement will be on contract basis from 1st July, 2024 to 31st March 2026.
Emoluments (Consolidated) will be Rs. 1,00,000/- p.m. for Sr. Consultant and Rs. 80,000/- p.m. for Consultant. Recruitment will be through an interview.
Educational qualification & Experience required:
(i) Sr. Consultant (Innovation and Start-ups): B. Tech & MBA with 5 years’ experience in related field
(ii) Sr. Consultant (Data Analytics): MBA / M. Com/M.Sc. (Math/Statistics) or equivalent with 5 years’ experience in related field
(iii) Consultant / Specialists (Scientific Research): M. Tech. with 5 years’ experience in related field
(iv) Consultant (Skilling and Training): B. Tech & MBA with 5 years’ experience in related fields.
Age limit will be 50 years as on date of publication of advertisement.
