No. 21 Baylor Softball comes up short in series opener against Texas Tech

WACO, TX (FOX 44) — The struggles in conference play for the Baylor Softball team continued on Friday night, as the Bears came up short against Texas Tech.

The game was back and forth throughout, with the Red Raiders taking leads and the Bears constantly responding and tying up the game time and time again.

In the end though, it was Texas Tech that had the final answer, scoring on a fielder’s choice in the sixth, and Baylor failed to get a runner in scoring position down the stretch, as the Red Raiders held on.

With the defeat, Glenn Moore’s team falls to just 3-10 in conference play. The Bears will look to improve on that mark on Saturday, April 6th when they host Texas Tech at 2:00 pm.
