T-Mobile had been Kelvin Hunter’s internet service provider for the past couple of years in the subsidized apartment he rents from the Newark Housing Authority. And the 58-year-old disabled truck driver said the service has been fine for the online shopping, YouTube watching, Googling and browsing he does on his laptop at home.
But at $60 a month, T-Mobile was triple the cost Hunter will now pay for the new Andrena wireless service he signed up for Thursday at the NHA’s Otto E. Kretchmer Apartments on Ludlow Street in Newark’s industrial South Ward.
